Work Location: Office in Pudong Tang Qiao and R&D Lab in Songjiang district
Responsibilities:
1. Define goals, content and schedule of product development and assigned projects together with Head of Technical Center
2. Take lead of product/solution localization from product center to China
3. Define the localization steps / identify the parts for localization
4. Define and assign work packages to the project team members, guide the project team to meet the requirement
5. Give technical advice and instructions and support actively on the supplier side when critical parts have to be sourced
6. Build prototypes of localized products together with project team and suppliers
7. Making the quality planning and releasing of single parts and assemblies (Criteria, procedures, methods) – before starting the local sourcing or production
8. Support the preparation of make or buy decisions
9. Solve technical issues, support production / assembly layout etc.
10. Assists the Product Management to prepare the gate meeting and delivers of each phase of localization
11. Support the technical and engineering know-how transfer and quick learning
12. The communication with the project team and related department head
Requirements:
1. Bachelor degree or above in mechatronic engineering or similar
2. Above 5 years’ experience in the mechatronic field
3. Product/process developing skill (CAD/CAM/CAE)
4. Project management training, certificate of PMP is an advantage
5. Strong project management skills
6. Team work spirits, ability to work under high pressure
7. Strong communication skills, team player
8. Positive attitude towards solving problems
9. Interdisciplinary working style
10. Be fluent in listening, speaking, reading and writing English
