Responsibilities
1. Responsible for supplier quality management tasks assigned according to company process and procedures

Tasks
1. Observe supplying markets
- Support buyers to analyze supplier markets by visiting exhibitions and announcements as well as technical manuals.
- Support buyers to monitor new market developments and new suppliers for new technologies.
2. Conduct audits for supplier selection
- Together with buyer, do risk analysis at suppliers
- Conduct system audit and process audit at supplier sites
- Evaluate risks of quality, process and capacity of suppliers
3. Implement advanced quality planning projects for all new, resourced and localized parts
- Monitor APQP process and timing at suppliers
- Verify supplier process and quality control
- Solve technical and quality problems at suppliers
- Approve or assist on approval of supplier PPAP
4. Implement supplier management after SOP
- Manage engineering changes (design, tooling, process, etc.) with suppliers
- Conduct regular process audit at suppliers
- Do supplier assessment (SAM) for quality aspects
- Handle defects of supplier parts (8D), follow up containment and corrective actions
- Implement continuous improvement actions at suppliers
5. Develop local suppliers to meet ZF requirements
6. Work closely with global commodity team for strategic tasks
7. Support plants for supplier quality activities
8. Prepare reports regarding supplier quality status and activities

Skills, Education and/or Experience
1. Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering Science with practical knowledge e.g. casting, machining, stamping and welding processes.
2. Three years working experience in purchasing/supplier quality field in the automotive industry
3. Familiar with quality system such as ISO/TS 16949, VDA
4. Expert of quality management tools
5. Good knowledge of material specification and testing standards
6. Skillful with MS Office and internet applications
7. English (business fluent)
8. Familiar with project management
9. APQP-Process-knowledge
10. Proactive and strict working style
11. Good at communication and team work
12. Flexible for extensive travels
