Purpose of the position:
Controlling rules in Greater China Region(GCR) which include:
Business control and analysis;
Controlling management of Business Line in GCR;
Leading project cost control;
Management reports organization, MTP organization and preparation;
Group reporting, internal and external audit organization and coordination;
Principal Accountability:
Describe'what' task is performed,'why' it is performed and 'how' it is performed
Make sure the businesses and strategic targets can be fulfilled properly;
Provide business control, analysis and support for decision making in Buiness Line level;
Work with Regional management team of Business Line and functional units in GCR, coordinate the required information and resources effectively;
Requirements:
Good Knowledge in accounting, budgeting, controlling and business analysis;
Comprehensive knowledge and experience in business operation and project management;
Good knowledge in local and international reporting standard;
Work together with Regional management team including Site managers and responsible sale managers to prepare, manage and control the budget execution;
Be responsible for the finance activities for manufacture sites in GCR including appoint finance managers, ensure finance department complying with corporate guideline and external legal requirements in accounting and finance aspects;
Work with responsible person globally for the business result, MTP, project cost management and information collection in regard to the business Line in GCR;
Coordinate the service/Capex/Finance resources with SU/FU in GCR and German Headquarter
Appoint the finance manager in responsible manufacture sites in GCR;
Prepare and manage the finance plan for manufacture sites in GCR;
Approve the external audit/Tax and finance related report for Business Line in GCR;
Be responsible for the preparation of MTP and annual investment plan of Business Line in GCR;
Be responsible for the project cost control in GCR;
Be responsible for the information collection and preparation of investment plan in GCR and deliver to Business Line management team in Germany for final review;
Be responsible for the normal annual Capex control & management of Business Line ? Be responsible for the finance plan in GCR;in GCR;
Project cost control based on individual requirement;
Be responsible for the MTP final review in GCR before deliver them to Business Line Germany for final approval;
Report to BU Regional controller and to BL global controller in regard to the actual business performance, provide variance analysis, Investment status report, project cost management report and information collection for the strategic investment project;
Work with GMs in BL manufacturing sites including business analysis, MTP review and yearly investment plan review; provide recommendations in internal management and internal control; make sure to implement the recommendation from Internal auditors; organize the finance management in BL manufacture sites
Coordinate the services from SU/FU in GCR and Germany to support business development, external audit, tax and finance management etc
Fulfill Evonik Compliance and practice consistency by continue communicating with managers in BL manufacturing sites and realizing Eovonik compliance requirement step by step based on the mutual understanding;
Analyze the deviation between budget and actual business result by asking for the analysis from responsible person and justify the analysis and explanation; clarify and explain to BU regional management team and BL global management team.
Analyze the deviation between approved project budget(not strategic project) and actual expenditure by providing detail cost analysis, update cost estimation in order to ensure the achievable of project cost budget;
Mini Education level:Bachelor
Major preferred:accounting/finance/controlling/business management;
Language skills:English Good
Minimum years in employment:8 years
Preferred industry experience:chemical
Others:5 years MNC experiences as well as manager position at least; ?Ability to work under pressure and available to travel frequently;?SAP knowledge is a plus;
