Job Title: Team Leader 生产班长

Report to:
Working location: Caojing, SH
Purpose of the position:
- Run all parts of the plant economically and according to the regulations
- Supervise and monitor the team members in order to ensure a safe, reliable, economic and stable operation
- Personnel planning and on-the-job- training of his team members
- Shift schedule, troubleshooting and assignment of special responsibilities of each team member
- Immediate report and if possible organize the elimination of all kinds of irregularities within the plant
- Issue permit of work and supervise all kind of related activities in the plant
- Reduce risks for employees, environment and neighborhood as far as possible
- Responsible for emergency procedures if necessary
- Information and consultation of the plant management regarding the status of operations
Responsibilities:
- Giving clear orders to his/her direct reports to ensure failure free operations in order to run the plant economically, safe and reliable
- Conducting tours on regular basis to make sure all irregularities (according to pipework and equipment of the plant) are noticed and taken care of correctly
- In case of irregularities: initiate all relevant actions to solve the problem and to avoid any risks for people, environment or production materials. Inform the management and every other plant/department concerned as soon as possible
- Documentation of activities and all irregularities (e.g. 'shift book')
- Entitled to set up working requirements for team members and externals
- Granting work permits and checking the compliance with regulations. If needed, granting special permits
- Making sure all actions are conducted according to safety regulations
- Stop unsafe activities of team members or external (e.g. maintenance work) immediately and inform the supervisor
- Checking the plant safety by conducting tours, documenting defects and reporting all irregularities to the plant management
- Organizing failure free shift changes and cooperating closely with the counterparts
- Conducting assembly work personally and support direct reports in terms of troubleshooting
- Organize and monitor on-the-job trainings of the team members, support and encourage training within the team
- In case of absence of plant management: Authority to decide how to run the plant and how to act in case of breakdown
- Evacuating the plant in case of fire, danger etc
- Follow the company regulations regarding IP-protection and code of conduct etc
Requirements:
- Vocational school ,Chemical Engineering
- 5 yrs experience in continuous running chemical plant, as team leader or deputy team leader
- Advanced chemical and technical knowledge (vocational training, working experience)
- Some years of working experience at a chemical plant
- Advanced knowledge of ESHQ and capability to handle and operate relevant instruments and equipment according to oral or written patterns
- Comprehensive knowledge of relevant processes and products
- Knowledge of IT-Tools like MS-Office
- Advanced English
- Acting as a role model for the principles of Team Excellence
- Special permits like “authority to sign” etc
- Must get and maintain the legal required certificates
