Leadership
? Lead, motivate and challenge the client services team to maintain and grow revenue streams and relationships within the existing client base
? Manage and inspire team members to continually improve their knowledge and skills as marketing consultants
? Manage career development for team members and ensure the team is effectively trained
? Forecast resourcing needs, manage account coverage and assignment
? Ensure adherence to organizational procedures and systems
? Help prepare teams to deliver client strategy reviews
Business Development
? Contribute and participate in territory and global sales pitches to provide a client services perspective to our solutions and pricing proposals
? Lead the team to identify and pursue revenue growth opportunities within the existing client base
? Be accountable for the consistent and quality production of account plans and their implementation
? Keep a pulse on the marketplace to identify opportunities/threats and convey them to the team or management as appropriate
Relationship Management
? Develop strong relationships with executives across the top tier client base
? Evaluate client satisfaction on an ongoing basis
? Act as escalation point for internal and external parties
Productivity Management
? Work with cross-functional teams to ensure team readiness for new product and service roll-out
? Be accountable for the circulation of client notifications (product downtime, team unavailability)
? Initiate and oversee the resolution of escalations to other teams (e.g., product, technical support, engineering)
? Continually endeavor to improve company and team processes by keeping abreast of best practices from other teams/the market and implementing those that have the largest impact
? Ensure successful collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that stay on budget and exceeds client’s expectations
o Drive team accountability with internal communications that stimulate better solutions development
o Coach team on understanding and managing client expectations
o Raise quality standard issues to the appropriate function head
Financial Management
? Demonstrate knowledge of our business and pricing models to balance revenue, profitability and client expectations
? Stay abreast of client billing escalation issues and ensure they are being resolved
? Revenue forecasting and realization reporting
REQUIREMENTS….
? Very solid experience in a comparable position
? Successful track record in account management and cross-functional collaboration
? Proven ability to lead and motivate a high performing team of Account Directors and Managers
? Excellent presentation, consultative sales and negotiation skills in interacting with senior level executives
? Has an appreciation for the impact of data and analytics on marketing success
? Has a strong understanding of accounting practices that impact revenue recognition and management
? Proficiency in a second language is ideal
? Regional travel required
