职位描述：
Purpose
Peanut is one important raw material that used in Mars chocolate products (e.g. M&M’s @, SNICKERS @). It is defined as one of the strategy raw materials in Mars. The security supply of peanut is critical to product quality and Mars business.
Global Chocolate Science and Technology (GCS&T) Peanut Technology Team works across different Mars sites and peanut origins to lead medium and long term research projects to support the growth of the global chocolate business. The lab work will be conducted daily base and field work will be conducted during harvest season to assist the project manager to deliver the projects progress.
This position will provide peanut research assistance and peanut lab management to maximize and extend the effectiveness. This position will be located in GCS&T HUA hub (Huairou, Beijing) and report to GCS&T Peanut Technology Scientist.
The Role
The Peanut Research Technician’s role would work in below areas:
? HUA Peanut lab owner, e.g. to support MCH PPI team to develop IC management system; to arrange all lab work in peanut lab; to develop peanut lab manage system and lead the maintain; to attend regular IC meeting; to manage peanut lab instruments etc.
? Support on China & India peanut bench-top evaluation, e.g. to help on developing data analysis and reporting system; to maintain database; to do basic data analysis; to do lab test based on routine and urgent needs; to coordinate the sample receiving and sending with internal and external partners.
? Support peanut scientist to conduct lab trial and provide basic analysis results, e.g. HOAP line trial, specification optimization research & line trial etc.
? Support peanut scientist to conduct field trial, e.g. crop survey etc.
Experience and Competencies
? Bachelor priority on science
? prior experience in lab work and management
? basic ability on data analysis, statistic and making chart and report writing
? proficiency in the use of spreadsheets (Microsoft office software)
? Essential level in English reading and written
? detail driving
? good initiative and follow through and action oriented
? hard working
? good at collaboration and of working as part of a team
? Organizational agility
? Good at Planning and dealing with multiple testing task
