Job Responsibilities:

Interior Engineering liaison between Coda Automotive and our Chinese manufacturing sites. The Interior Engineer will be responsible for implementing the design, release and coordination of Interior Systems to the manufacturing sites/suppliers. This person will provide engineering information and gather feedback for vehicle interior requirements. Also, give direction to suppliers in the development of 3D and 2D CAD data.
1. Liaison to Chinese manufacturers and CODA Automotive offices
2. Execute the requirements of the DFMEA and DVP&R for each system.
3. Handle new vehicle interior parts design: seat, IP, door panel, garnish trim, carpet, headliner and etc.
4. Lead cross-function team activities and ensure engineering project timing is maintained.
5. Additional responsibilities will include coordinating development projects with other departments, suppliers and manufacturing.

Qualification:
1. Bachelors Degree and above in Automotive Engineering, Knowledge of Interior Systems is basic requirement.
2. No less than 5 years working background in an automotive environment as an Interior Engineer.
3. Have working experiences of Tier 1 and/or OEM experience in the design and release of Interior systems. Vendor support / negotiation and manufacturing / launch support.
4. Catia V5 CAD capability (desirable, but not mandatory)
5. Thorough knowledge of FMVSS / Regulatory requirements and test methods.
6. Clear understanding of research and development processes
7. Fluent in English - written and spoken
8. Excellent communication skills, teamwork spiriting, results oriented.
