JOB TITLE: Key Account Sales Manager, micro machining
LOCATION: Shenzhen
DEPARTMENT: Low Power Sales Team
REPORTS TO: Low Power Sales Team Leader, IPG Beijing
JOB PURPOSE:
1) New market development and key account management at target micro machining market, with IPG new ultrafast /UV/Green/QCW fiber laser, include ready product, new product we are able to demo, and under product development;
2) Major tasks include early market development to gain enough insight of target market which give feedback to product development team, good skill to manage big project /big account by complex organization and massive internal/external communication – inside low power sales team, application, global product and business management;
3) Target market/application include high end electronic/mobile application , LED/PV/semicon process , micro material processing.
ORGANIZATION:
Immediate Supervisor: national leader of low power team (low power and QCW product)
Sub-ordinates: NA
Peer: low power sales, high power sales and application, marketing
DECISION MAKING AUTHORIZATION:
1) Project management, micro machining market development plan and implementation, key account management with certain level authorization include price, business term, and other offering to customer.
JOB CONTENT:
1) Understanding IPG portfolio regarding micro processing and sub-system, include ready to sell, demo phase and under development , which should bring different kinds of sales and marketing work;
2) Understand micro machining market – the market dynamic, competitions, and current application and future new projects, able to give insight of market and what we are going to do to play at this market;
3) Define target key accounts – OEM, sub-contractors, or key enduser as influencer , good skill to manage dynamic relationship with multiple level of customer organization regarding big projects;
4) Develop good relationship with application, marketing, global product management team , China and global, good communication and solid implementation skill to required task;
5) Achieving annual target regarding sales goal (top line – sales and booking) and specific new market development related goals.
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:
1) Background of proven laser and micro machining experience or, optics or related high technology field;
2) Minimum experience at related industry: at least 5 years, 3 years for sales or marketing;
3) Educated to graduate level in science or engineering discipline;
4) Good team player and solid communication skill both internally and with customer;
5) Able to manage multiple projects and to stay focused on companies overall objectives;
6) “Willing to help” personal character;
7) Effective time management and personal organization, problem solving skill, commercial acumen.
