Responsible for factory engineering programs for CS services with new product launches through coordination of pilot
projects. Provides support and/or lead teams through the Engineering development process and implementation of CS
service on HP's products. Works with engineering management to identify and improve overall efficiency and quality of
the program in the future. Projects are typically shorter-term, less complex and more contained with a defined time frame.
Programs are typically longer-term, multi-functional, multi-project with complex requirements and effort. Manage activities,
resource capability, schedules, budgets, and ensure cross company communications to facilitate product completion on
schedule within budget. Applies developed subject matter knowledge to solve common and complex business issues
within established guidelines and recommends appropriate alternatives. Work with engineering management to identify
and improve process and program efficiencies. Work can involve external parties such as standards bodies, partners, etc.
Engineers interface with factory process engineering, Create/instill a “customer perspective of quality” in the factory.
Works on problems/projects of diverse complexity and scope. Ability to handle most unique situations. May seek advice in
order to make decisions on complex business issues.

Responsibilities
- Manages and leads a program involving one or more functions and project teams to drive the engineering development
and implementation process for a subsystem or component of a product or service offering.
- Participates as a member of project team of other product engineers to develop and execute reliable, cost effective and
high quality manufacturing solutions for products from new product introduction through end of lifecycle.
- Ensure the factory processes to implement CS services are effective and will contribute to high quality in production
- Coordinates activities of supporting project teams and internal and external development partners; tracks progress
against established plan and makes decisions to alter or update schedule and resource allocation to meet product
requirements and development schedule.
- Immediately in action when a factory faces a major issue (risk of production hold) to coordinate the first actions and
guaranty the issue is quickly and properly qualified and reported.
- Communicates program progress, escalations, and issue analysis to product stakeholders; collaborates with
management and internal manufacturing and development partners to implement changes to product, process, or
program plan to resolve escalated issues, produce solutions, and ensure adherence to budgets and established product
roadmaps and schedules
- Factory has documented problems escalation procedure, issue resolution and improvement plans, that are followed-up
until complete resolution
- Communicates product and process issue analysis to product engineering leader and product team; implements
specified changes to product or process to reduce defects, improve quality, and lower costs.
- Perform regular process audits and ensure key quality control processes (eg. EOLA) conform to HP specification
- Ensure incoming material management processes/methods meet HP quality standards and expectations
- Work with ODM Quality Management System to drive systematic improvements and metric accountability
- Ensure quality issues in the factory are being owned and acted upon appropriately

Education and Experience
? Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Management, Engineering, Computer Sciences, or equivalent
? PMP/PMI certification a plus but not required
? Minimum 4-6 years experience
Knowledge and Skills
? Using project planning tools and software packages to create, manage, and track project results.
? Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
? Demonstrated experience coordinating and directing matrixed teams and resources
? Ability to create and manage program schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans
? Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language.
? Ability to effectively communicate program plans, proposals, and results, and negotiate options at management levels. 举报 分享
