The area: Large Customer Sales (LCS)
The regional Large Customer Sales (LCS) teams partner closely with our major advertising clients and agencies to develop digital solutions that build our clients' businesses and brands. We are in a unique and exciting position to shape how marketing and business is conducted in the digital age. We generate revenue from across Google's broad range of solutions, from Google AdWords, to YouTube, to Mobile, that help our customers connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences and get the most out of the web.
The role: Conversion Specialist
Reach for new revenue-generating heights as a Sales Googler. Businesses that partner with Google come in all shapes, sizes and market caps, and no one Google advertising solution works for all. Your knowledge of online media combined with your communication skills and analytical abilities shapes how new and existing business grow. You leverage your entrepreneurial drive to target, educate and persuade new customers to embrace Google's latest advertising products and technologies. Using your influencing and relationship-building skills, you provide Google-caliber client service, research and market analysis. You anticipate how decisions are made, understand the details of individual campaigns and persistently explore and uncover the business needs of your key clients. Working with them, you set the vision and the strategy for how their advertising can reach thousands of users.
As a Conversion Specialist, you'll be developing and managing strategies for optimizing online conversion rates for direct clients and agencies. You need to be a focused, proactive self-starter, and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Additionally, you're an adviser and consultant, as well as a client advocate within Google. You'll use your technical skills to help clients implement conversion analysis and optimization tools such as Google Analytics. You'll use your analytical skills to assess site performance data and provide recommendations to clients on how to increase conversions and lower CPA by (a) optimizing their digital presence (digital campaigns, landing pages, conversion funnels) and; (b) extending their reach through Google solutions such as Remarketing, 3PAS, and so forth.
Responsibilities:
Develop and collate best practice frameworks, sales collateral and case studies that sales team can use to enhance client "conversion savviness".
Train clients on how to make effective use of Google's conversion products.
Provide site performance updates in relation to their digital campaigns and ensure that our advertisers are satisfied with their ROI.
Engage on cross-functional projects, including working with Sales and Sales Ops to develop campaign selling programs based on conversion best practice metrics.
Help clients implement Google conversion products. Strong experience with Google Analytics and other analytical tools highly-preferred. Serve as a liaison with clients regarding new product and feature launches and advertising opportunities.
Minimum qualifications:
BA/BS degree (In lieu of degree, 4 years relevant work experience).
Must speak and write English and Mandarin fluently and idiomatically.
Preferred qualifications:
Considerable experience in online sales, marketing and creative consulting.
Strong knowledge of the search and display industries and Google products such as AdWords and AdSense.
GAIQ certified. Data-driven and highly analytical, able to translate data and trends into powerful strategies and compelling messaging.
Demonstrable ability to communicate effectively with senior executive leadership and superior people. Influencing skills are an absolute requirement.
Strong entrepreneurial spirit and instinct for revenue-generating activities.
