Product Innovation is missioned with providing innovative solutions both technically as well as business -wise in NOKIA Mobile Phones so as to disrupt the market.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for stars, world class innovators who would focus on innovations centered around Nokia Mobile Phones ecosystem.

Your key tasks and responsibilities will comprise but are not limited to:

· Identifying enablers on mobile handsets in order for application providers in the ecosystem to be able to develop more attractive applications with better user experience.

· Identifying and closely working with key business partners that can collaborate with Nokia to create innovative business model for Nokia.

· Inventing new business models for the company and generating a high level business case for such new model. Identifying the technical /business gap required in order to launch the new business.

· Communicating with external partners and internal stakeholders to promote our innovations and serve as its evangelist.

· Monitoring and understanding trends and solutions of ecosystems for other competing mobile platforms and OEMs.

· Technology studies, providing technical insight, guidance and innovative proposals to enhance the current business model or create new ones.

· Leading and creating innovative and competitive technologies for the benefit of Nokia Mobile Phones ecosystem.

· Defining specifications and clear requirements for innovative prototypes that would enhance the ecosystem.

· Designing high level SW/HW architectures and performing high level SW/HW architecture reviews for innovations and enablers centering around ecosystem to make sure the design meets the requirements of the ecosystem.

· Participating in conceptual design, prototyping, effort estimations, feasibility studies and risk assessments.

· Providing guidance to development teams on behalf of partners/ecosystem players.

Qualifications

Your Qualifications

1. Business:

· Strong business sense

· 2~ 3 years' product management experience managing software/hardware mobile or internet products.

· 2 ~ 3 years' experience defining innovative business models and generating business cases for products launch

2. Technical:

· Strong technical experience in mobile industry with SW development and a degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or similar as well as 10+ years of relevant experience in the embedded/mobile platform level system design.

· Preferred: experience with internet application development or platform level mobile architecting experience.

· Perfect candidate has also extensive knowledge about mobile Internet platforms, technologies and services.

3. Communication & Intangibles:

· We expect that you are fluent in both written and spoken Chinese Mandarin. Preferably a native speaker with little accent.

· You are fluent in both written and spoken English.

· Good team player.

· Have a natural openness to new ideas.

· Enjoys communicating with people, known or strangers.

· Good at promoting and evangelizing.
