PureLiving is a leading indoor environmental solutions provider focused on advising residential, corporate and academic clients on issues in air and water quality, mold, and lead exposure issues.
In addition to testing by independent government-certified labs, we also interpret results based on rigorous international standards and provide independent recommendations and solutions tailored to our clients’ budgets and needs. 1. Position overview:
The Residential Business Manager is responsible for ensuring delivery of residential testing services and products, targeting multi-national employers, overseeing e-commerce development, and expanding retail partnership business in Shanghai for fast growing indoor environmental services pioneer, PureLiving China. This position involves managing a small support team, finding new leads, identifying new retail opportunities, pitching customers in meetings and presentations, developing and maintaining relationships with employers, community groups, agencies and individual clients, as well as ongoing customer support. This challenging role is well suited to a self-driven and confident, outgoing person with an entrepreneurial spirit who enjoys testing new ideas quickly.
2. Responsibilities:
i. Lead the residential business team, to include client care, sales and marketing, partnerships, and product and service offerings. Service delivery will belong to the consulting group and coordination and support will be shared with operations.
ii. Achieve annual residential sales targets and profitability. Eligible sales include: residential testings, residential remediation services, corporate services for assignees’ residences, equipment, and filtration sales. Channels include on and off-line.
iii. Sales activities such as responding to customer inquiries, creating recommended test projects and issuing price quotes.
iv. Marketing activities – writing articles, coordinating activities, soliciting client feedback, developing customer referral and loyalty programs, optimizing website, analyzing web traffic, etc.
v. Establish partnership channels (large employers, relocation agencies, community organizations, aligned retailers, etc)
Requirements:
1- Two years of sales experience.
2- Friendly, extroverted and inquisitive personality; able to work independently
3- Chinese passport or current (foreign) residents only.
4- Foreign residents will only be considered with significant China experience
5- Appropriate candidates should be willing to live in Shanghai
6- Mandarin speaker (preferably Native ) with strong written English, able to write proposals and presentations in English
7- Accomplished public speaker
8- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
9- Passion for making a difference and helping clients
10- Qualifications in Business management or environmental science or chemistry is a plus.
