Key Responsibilities:

·Provide product management for his/her assigned Business Unit(s), including planning, development, implementation and control of marketing activities and elements such as pricing, distribution and sales promotions to obtain maximum profitability.

·Develop and implement short and long term strategic marketing plans and control mechanisms to ensure both the protection and improvement of the company's market share and position through defensive and offensive means.

·Maintain an industry leadership position by the timely introduction of innovative, market-driven new products that fit the long-term strategic growth plans of the company.

·Maintain Business Unit professional integrity by keeping abreast of market trends, customer needs, industry regulations and competitive developments.

·Support the achievement of total customer satisfaction by developing and maintaining good relations with our external and internal customer groups; such as our customer platform, local internal departments, HAL (Region), HAG Business Units and national suppliers.

·Plan and develop market communications through product and technical literature, media advertising, promotions, mail-outs, telemarketing and other innovative means, continually improving our market position.

·Insure product inventory is maintained at an adequate level to meet sales demand and to minimize reserve obsolescence by coordinating the steering of the sales forecast for current and newly introduced products.

·Provide professional advice through calculations, tests, inspections and special solutions, continually improving our advice competence and specialist image in the market.

·Maintain a reference library of product data, competitive information and industry required approvals, standards and regulations.

·Develop and update product/demo skills training modules (BTS, TSR Certification, etc.) for all Engineering and Sales personnel plus prompt distribution of all relevant information to them.

·Work closely with the logistics functions to ensure that optimal stock levels and product mix are maintained to comply with market requirements.

·Follow all procedures directly effecting the PM as described in the Hilti (China) Distribution Ltd. quality manual, in particular Introduction of New Products, Souring of National Products, Complaint Handling, Repair, Replenishment, Planning, Review & Improvement and Employee Development processes plus provide input to the process owner for continued improvement of these processes.

Requirements:

·University degree (technical) with MBA from a good university preferred

·Strong fluency in both written and spoken English.

·MS-Office, Outlook, SAP knowledge a plus

·Minimum 3 years related experience in a multinational company.Construction/Sales/International experience a definite advantage
