Job Description

This position will be responsible for database and ETL development for a set of internal analytic and operational support tools. The developer will work closely with team members and stakeholders to incorporate new sources of data into our data warehouse. (S)he will also maintain and adapt existing ETL processes, develop application views and queries, and conduct ad-hoc data analysis.

Responsibilities
- Communicate with stakeholders to comprehend and integrate new data sources
- Design physical database structures for new data
- Develop, test, deploy, document and maintain new and existing ETL processes
- Ensure timely completion of scheduled ETL tasks
- Develop views and queries for application use
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis to evaluate data integrity and to support executive requests

Skills
- Must have very strong SQL skills
- Experience with Unix/Linux
- Scripting in the Unix environment (shell, sed, awk, etc.)
- Manipulation of data in diverse formats (relational, text, spreadsheets, xml)
- Database and data warehouse design
- Data modeling (ER and dimensional)
- Experience with DB2 is preferred
- Knowledge of Java
- Excellent analytical ability
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
- Computer Science degree is preferred 举报 分享
