Scoring Analyst

This position is for an international reputable information management and business strategy solution provider. Based in Beijing or Shanghai.

The scoring analyst's role is primarily credit scoring focused. The role will support Business Consultants in winning and delivering projects with a scoring component.

Requirements

Experience

• 1-3 yrs of modeling and analytics in credit card, mortgage, loan and other consumer finance product experiences
• Strong hands-on scorecard building, modeling and statistical skills
• 1- 3 years experience of statistical/ mathematical project work. Specifically data mining and analytics particularly in the areas of segmentation, key driver analysis and/or regression modeling in a retail bank, telecom or direct marketing sector.
• Experience of data manipulation with large size dataset.
• Exposure to mainframe and/or UNIX platforms is a plus.

Knowledge / Skills / Personality

• Good at SAS or any others analytical tools
• Solid coding skills with standard packages such as SAS, SPSS etc
• Excellent report writing skills, including writing sales proposals, analysis reporting and business interpretation.
• Leadership and team skills, able to prepare, chair and follow up meetings
• Presentation skills - Communicating information of technical nature to non-technical clients
• Account Management - ability to establish customer relationships and to determine the structure, responsibilities, and needs within the client's organisation
• Project planning and controlling skills, ability to handle multiple projects

Qualification

• Masters or bachelor degree in a quantitative discipline such as Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics
