As a travel management company, we tailor the right solutions to save our clients time and money in business travel. An exciting opportunity exists in our Shenzhen office for a driven and energetic individual to join our China corporate sales team.

About the Opportunity:
The role of a BDM is to acquire new corporate travel business in accordance with FCM’s sales process and systems to achieve agreed targets. He/she will develop corporate relationships with key decision makers in organizations to create new sales opportunities by means of corporate networking, client profiling and cold calling. The BDM will present FCM Travel Solutions products and services in a compelling value based offering to maximize sales and ensure new business is acquired in a profitable manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Generate own leads and opportunities
  • Leverage networks within FCM & client organizations to expand opportunities for new business
  • Meet agreed KPI’s for lead generation, conversion and profitability of new accounts
  • Preparation of professional and compelling travel proposals and sales presentations to corporate buyers
  • Build and maintain a network of relationships with key procurement executives and preferred suppliers.
  • Utilise and update CRM system for all client activity
  • Gather competitor intelligence to effectively counter competitor offerings

Key Requirements:
  • At least 3 years in corporate sales position dealing with national and multinational corporations
  • Based in Shenzhen office and frequent weekly travel to Guangzhou
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving aggressive sales targets
    Prior experience in corporate travel industry is desired but not essential
  • Highly motivated and target driven with a positive attitude
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to network at senior levels in expatriate and local environment
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in Mandarin, also Business Level in English
  • Well presented with a high degree of professionalism
  • Strong negotiation skills and business acumen
    Excellent team player
    Excellent listening skills – must have demonstrated ability to identify client needs and solve their problems
