WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR? - Senior Project Manager

We are looking for an outstanding employee to join us as a full-time Senior Project Manager. Successful candidates will have experience in leading product development and software R&D and in a multi-project set-up. You will have a strong focus on the consumer experience, great teamwork and communications, and a strong motivation to achieve results in a fast-paced environment.

You will work as part of an Agile team at our Beijing development centre launching and growing new products for Nokia's Smart Devices business. You will be a key contributor in the team and not only have the opportunity to drive your ideas and initiatives, but also have the responsibility and authority to ensure ultimate success. You will be involved in every aspect of the process - from idea generation, business analysis and technical design through to software development across a variety of technologies. Your software will need to meet remarkably high standards of functionality, usability, performance and reliability.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

·Understanding and determining SW development program requirements.

·Understanding consumer needs and defining them into implementable user stories

·Prioritizing user stories in scrum team(s) backlog, defining team objectives in software development cycles

·Working as project team interface to internal and external partners and stakeholders

·Managing changes in priorities and requirements

Be accountable for content, quality, user experience and schedule of deliveries

Qualifications

·At least 6 years of experience in mobile software industry, preferably in a Product Owner or Requirement Manager role

·Undergraduate or postgraduate degree from a reputable university

·Proven track record in planning, organizing and executing through others

·Strong understanding of and focus on user experience

·Strong understanding of mobile operators, consumers and mobile ecosystems

·Fluency in both written and spoken English and Chinese

·Experience in partner/vendor management a plus

Personal qualities:

·Ability to identify key details while maintaining an overview on priorities

·Results oriented with a strong customer and business focus

·Highly innovative, flexible and self-directed, but also a cooperative team player

·Ability to communicate and discuss technical topics with both technical and business audiences

·Ability to deal well with ambiguous and undefined problems

·Able to thrive in a challenging and dynamic environment

·Strong sense of ownership and passion for creating world-class software
