Overall Responsibility
The candidate is to assist Accounting Services (AS) team lead and Record to Report (RTR) manager with on-going operations, initiative projects, process/productivity improvements, and service management, to ensure successful achievement of business and financial goals.
Role Expectations
Financial Leadership
? As key contact of support, guidance and expertise for driving RTR team-wide continuous improvement events and projects, including DE/GB projects from initiation to completion within or crossing AS functional teams for most beneficial result and secure milestone achievements.
? Assist AS leads on overall capability development events including controllership capability programs, agenda, and training/sharing curriculums.
? Analyze various global and local metrics and time tracking results with AEE controllership global and local leads
? In charge of recruitment process including processing demand request, scanning candidates, coordinating interview and hiring processes.
? Provide support to RTR staff for critical issues particularly where key country contacts are involved. Support should include but not be limited to items including leadership and guidance on the appropriateness of responses and scope of investigations
? Involve in/lead Center and/or Controllership wide initiative project
? Assist RTR manager in working with GBO on projects or initiatives, manage changes and new transactions and tools
? Assist AS Manager on stakeholders relationship maintenance and enhancement activities
? Review RTR team deliveries and ensure proper accounting treatment is applied according to Accenture policies and procedures.
Country Services Delivery - Record to Report (RTR)
? Deeply involved in rendering daily general accounting services to country controllership teams across locations. This might include Fixed Assets, Taxation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, Payroll accounting, AP Accruals, Internal Controls, Inter/Intra-company transactions and other ME/QE/YE pre/post close assignments, such as BS/PL analysis and etc., depends on actual demands.
? Work with the country controllers to improve performance and identify and address issues.
? Identify changes and process improvements leading to implementation, replacement, or upgrading of systems to reduce costs and improve financial situation, and/or meet legislative requirements
? Identify internal control risks and implement controls as required
? Coordinate with other finance function teams
? Develop methodologies, procedures, and/or reporting tools to streamline workload and improve functional responsibility, accounting and reporting
? Directly supervise daily operation of processes to country support teams.
? Participate in external and internal audits on an as needed basis to provide supporting documentation, knowledge about underling processes, analysis, etc.

Required Experience and Qualifications
? +8 years working experience in finance and accounting roles, ideally in SSC/BPO industry or local corporate finance team, with some of that in a supervisory role;
? Bachelor’s degree and above in Finance/Accounting; CICPA/ACCA/ASCPA/CIMA or other accountancy qualifications are an advantage but not compulsory;
? Good knowledge on US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and SOX compliance
? Perfect Finance and Accounting acumen;
? Demonstrated leadership ability to inspire people and obtain results through others;
? Strong project management skills, with ability to manage implementation projects within tight time constraints;
? Very good attitude in taking ownership and working under pressure
? Good sense on Operational Improvement/Delivery/Operation Effectiveness methodology, procedures and tools and individual efficiency and productivity measurement and improvement
? Good judgment on members’ performance and skill of job assignments
? Payroll processing and accounting hands-on experience and knowledge would be preferable but not compulsory;
? Good English oral and written command;
? PC skills (Advanced Excel, Word and Outlook); strong knowledge of SAP R/3 or equivalent is preferred;
? Good interpersonal, coaching skills with strong confidence and influential.
