Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

Detailed Description

As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.

Job Requirements

Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.

ACS Development Senior J2EE Engineer: We are seeking a senior engineer to join our high performing, agile development team located in Beijing, China. The team is responsible for development and maintenance of AM&R (Advanced Monitoring and Resolution), a high profile project within the Services Engineering group. AM&R is a fully integrated, ITIL-based operations management framework that supports the delivery of multiple Advanced Customer Service offerings from Oracle. Required Skills - Good understanding of Java EE architecture, with a focus on JSF, JPA, and EJB - Expert programmer in Java - Some experience writing SOAP and/or RESTful web services - Fluent in SQL and some experience with the Oracle database - Good communication and teamwork skills - Good knowledge in software development process - Working knowledge of Windows/UNIX operating system - Fluency in English - Strong self-motivation - 5 years of industry experience or more - BS/MS in computer science or related field Desired Skills - Experience working with systems monitoring and management products, especially Oracle Enterprise Manager - Have spent time as part of an agile development team (preferably Scrum) - Knowledge of web page design using HTML and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) - Experience with Eclipselink/Toplink and Oracle Application Development Framework (ADF) - Expertise in performance testing and tuning of enterprise class applications - Experience working with Weblogic application servers
