Job Title: Senior Financial Analyst

Direct Report: CFO, China

Location: PRC/Beijing

This position is for an international reputable information management and business strategy solution provider.

Job Description:

1. Management Reporting and Analysis

- Understanding of reporting from Chinese accounting system, and necessary adjustments for IRFS reporting and loading into Hyperion

- Production of insightful and management information including KPI's, P&L, Balance Sheets, Capex and Cash flows

- Work with the business to understand performance, current issues and trends covering P&L. Helping the business to address issues or take opportunities

- Prepare monthly operation reports (include actual and forecast on KB, NB, full P&L and headcount) for AABBCC China business

- Maintain revenue financial models (including KB and Deep Dives Report)

- Work with AP Regional, In-country and UK Corporate Finance to complete our regional and global reporting requirements for China

- Prepare various ad hoc financial analyses as required from time to time to support ongoing business decisions

2. Financial Planning, Budgeting and Forecasting

- Assist with Mid Year Forecast (MYF), 3 year Strategic Plans and Budgeting processes which occur during the financial year, critically evaluating submissions and making appropriate recommendations

- Take ownership of the regular fortnightly forecast (MMC) and Operating Cash flow Forecast (OFC) for China

- Enter all MMC, MYF, Strategic Plans and Budget into the Hyperion System

Always have a view of the current forecast for the rest of the year, a high level view of next year and display a thorough understanding of key events, risk and opportunities that could affect the business

- Consolidate China positions into presentations for senior leadership to effectively highlight China strategy and performance

3. System/Processes

- Become familiar with AABBCC accounting and reporting systems including Oracle, OBIEE, HFM and Hyperion and Sales - Tool such as Siebel on Demand for managing monthly results and our sales pipeline processes

- Transfer knowledge and training to any new hires on the systems and processes which are in place

- Work with the business, systems teams and corporate teams to improve country effectiveness and efficiency through streamlining the processes/systems integration/information flow

4. General

- A good coordinator between different entities within AABBCC assisting China CFO.

- Represent AABBCC as an honest, knowledgeable and conscientious ambassador of the company

- Attend and participate in team and regional meetings

- Participate in regional finance projects such as Compass and People Survey Focus Groups

- Recognise opportunities for continuous improvement to business processes and procedures

- Develop understanding of other AABBCC Business Units and work collaboratively

- Develop and maintain good working relationship with Finance and Operation teams from other subsidiaries and joint ventures in China

- Safeguard the company's assets, data, materials, equipment and sensitive documents in line with our Employee Handbook and Policies

- Help on any ad-hoc tasks from acquired entities

- Skills and Qualifications:

- CPA required with good understanding in IFRS

- Overseas study experience preferred

- 6+ years of working experience in an accounting firm and JV or MNC company

- Post qualification experience working in similar financial areas as part of a team and to tight deadlines

- Experience of working with financial systems, particularly Hyperion, Oracle and Siebel an advantage

- Knowledge of AABBCC Group's business, activities and strategies

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skill

- Good command of English (both oral and written)

- Preparation of presentations presenting financial results and future outlooks
