职位描述：
SUMMARY:

Under general direction, supports the reserving of insurance products and development of effective methodologies and strategies in support of business objectives. Coordinates, prepares and performs actuarial analyses of loss and expense reserves. Provides consultation on actuarial models and risk issues. Supports collaboration with business units in reconciling respective assumptions on loss projection, etc.




KEY TASKS & ACCOUNTABILITIES

1.Calculating ultimate losses for new and/or existing products

2.Reviewing summary datasets

3.Research, experience studies and other statistical analyses

4.Typically works with an assigned line of business or unit, supporting analyses of loss emergence patterns, reflecting latest information on loss trends, rate changes, and other variables affecting optimal reserve levels.

5.C-ROSS solvency ratio calculation

6.C-ROSS report preparation




RELATIONSHIPS:

Internal:

Provides technical insights to business units and technical underwriters, further serving as liaison with BU and CoE (and other key functions e.g. Pricing, Claims, etc) on an ongoing or as needed basis.

External:

Direct contact with auditors or other insurance regulatory bodies (based on local requirements).

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE

 1. At least bachelor degree in Actuarial Science or related field

 2. 1-3 working experience in GI actuarial function.

 

KNOWLEDGE:

 Pass preliminary level of actuarial exams
