Objective of job
Responsible for all the brand and strategy topics in the smart operation team, the role of the smart Brand and Product Management manager will be composed by:
1- define the long term product plan strategy and marketing / communication strategy
2- coordinate and manage with related teams all different kind of brand activities and events e.g.: customer event, A/B autoshows, E-marketing, test-drives...
in cooperation with the product management team, coordinate and manage new product market introduction (e.g.: BRABUS tailor made, smart ed, e-bike).
Task designation
1 Coordination marketing, PR, after-sales brand activities
Solely coordinate all marketing, PR and after-sales brand related activities, in cooperation with related team. The Manager Brand and Product Management will be the smart team entry point of all brand related activities that will mainly include: customer event, A/B auto shows, road show, PR event / test drive (journalist / customers) / crisis management / after-sales customer event.
2 Definition of long term product plan strategy
Solely manage the elaboration of the smart long term product plan and strategy, the Manager Brand and Product Management will be responsible for the future product positioning definition, volume plan and line-up.
3 Elaboration of smart brand and communication strategy
In collaboration with marketing team, the Manager Brand and Product Management will be responsible for the elaboration of the long term smart brand positioning and communication strategy.
3 New product launch Management
In close collaboration with product management, the Manager Brand and Product Management will be responsible for the new product launch coordination, including smart BRABUS tailor made, smart ed and smart e-bike.
4 E-marketing
Update of marketing website, including more brand oriented topics
6 Brand related projects
Integration of smart brand elements in new sales tools (app, dealer booklet, and creation of smart brand give-away for internal and dealer usage.
7 Regular brand / product update meeting
On monthly basis, organization of smart brand & product update meeting, with all smart related departments.
Qualification required
O Education
University graduate, Bachelor degree or above in the field of commerce, marketing, economics
O Experience
min. 5 years working experience in marketing, brand communication or product management; international experience / working in an international company.
O Specific Knowledge
- Fluent (spoken/written) English and Mandarin;
- Coordination with other teams as core of the working field, team work spirit, excellent organization and
communication are a must;
- Very good MS office knowledge (Excel, PowerPoint, Word);
- Very good analyzing and structuring skills (detail oriented) as well as presentation skills;
- Open minded, creative, innovative and willing to learn;
- Able to work under pressure and undertake multitask;
- Strong interest toward cars, driving license pv;
