Job Title

Senior Application Engineer –Touch Team

Responsibilities

  • Provide system level technical support to secure Atmel leader vendor position in touch industry
  • Engage into various touch project development stages, including solution proposal, feasibility study, quality validation, production support, Failure analysis, etc.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams in the development of new products
  • Keep updated with the latest developments in technology
  • Provide application related support to sales, FAE, marketing, PM
  • Work closely with other regions (like UK, USA, Japan, Korea, Taiwan) AE team to provide prompt support for global account

Mandatory Skills

  • Excellent electronic circuit or computer science fundamental knowledge (ADC, Filter, PWM, etc.)
  • Experience on equipment usage (Signal generator, Oscilloscope, etc.)
  • Experience on AVR, ARM, DSP and related interfaces like I2C, SPI, RS232 and other MCU related interfaces
  • Rich experience from mass production embedded system development
  • Great communication and interaction skills
  • Fluent in English (as working language)

Preferred Skills

  • Project management knowledge
  • Mobile phone or tablet project support experience
  • Quick learning to various PC software tools (SVN, excel, power point, etc.)

Education

  • Major in EE/CE or related

Experience

  • 3yrs+ EE related engineering work experience
