Key roles and responsibilities:
1. Acquire business
- Identify projects (through networking and other sources)
- Select projects with significant opportunities
- Establish relationship with the whole spectrum of stakeholders for each selected project:
End user (top management, purchasing, project management...)
- Acquire all relevant project information
- Customize sales strategy for each project
- Prepare quotations (with project coordinator)
- Negotiate contract terms.
2. Develop network
- Agents or partners
- Sources of info, influencers ....
3. Devise sales strategy
- Prepares sales budget
- Responsible for sales budget execution
4. Reporting
- Prepare timely and accurate reporting and information including but not limited to :
Weekly portfolio
Weekly project updates
Weekly report
Project cost study (PCS)
Requirement:
- Solid background in high-end manufactured products and related services, preferably in similar furniture business.
- Excellent sales track record with both MNC and local Chinese clients, ideally in office projects
- Successful record in developing effective network
- Ability to think and act strategically
- Pioneer spirit, autonomous, optimistic and persistent
- Effective team player, willing to communicate, address critical issues
- Good command of English (written and oral)
