Job Description
Job title: purchasing engineer
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies
- Identify & develop a strategic regional supply base
- Material cost reduction & localization rate
- Supply chain optimization
- Supplier delivery & quality improvements
- Supplier QS certification and compliance
- New product launch
- Review supplier plants with quality personnel and engineering assistance to analyze facilities, commodities and capabilities. Identify suppliers that can be developed. Develop commodity expertise
? Lead coordination with suppliers to submit request for quotations and provide input required for making sourcing recommendations10.Work with other regions to develop sourcing recommendations. Assist in issuing purchase orders after approved by appropriate level of management


Job Requirements
Bachelor or advanced degrees;
- Male is preferred.
- Minimum three year relevant work experience on commercial or production purchasing;
- Fluent in reading, writing, speaking and comprehension of the English vocabulary;
- Experienced in using Word, Excel, and PowerPoint software;
- Foundry experience is a plus.
- Mature interpersonal skills, communication skills, pleasant personality, cross culture understanding, organizing ability, coordinating ability, team work spirit and efficient
