职位描述

Job Description
-Is the driver of translating the overall company strategy to the plant organization. Ensure a smooth transition of all HR, supply, sourcing, and product development activities into the organization to facilitate the rollout of an integrated plant business strategy.
-Plan, direct and control the overall management of the Chongqing manufacturing plant. Manage and prioritize plant resources (such as manpower, equipment, facilities, materials and capital) to ensure the attainment of business objectives, production schedules and product standards to fully meet customers' expectations.
-Bring the plant to initial production output (including customer qualification) and expand the scale from there onwards. Ensure the plant meets all safety and environmental targets as set by law and the group.
-Develop and leverage on company's technical competencies to create new business opportunities pertinent to industry needs.
-Drive ongoing process enhancements to ensure all development activities can consistently meet company objectives. Encourage fact-based problem solving.
-Develop new and existing strategic vendor partners to meet company's product line plan, margin & quality expectations. Improve the competitiveness of the plant to meet World Class performance objectives.
-Establish and maintain strong industrial network and develop appropriate platforms to strengthen the partnership between the company and the automotive industry in China. Represent the company and the plant in relevant local/regional networks.
-Lead, motivate and develop subordinates. Close partnership with the management team to achieve company goals. Work to establish management practices throughout assigned areas, encourage all employees' positive involvement with opportunity for input and action.

Job Requirements
-At minimum Degree or tertiary education in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or Operations Management
-At minimum 15 years of production experience, with proven plant / production leadership. Experience in different domains is preferred such as quality, supply, engineering, maintenance
- Solid experience in TS16949 automotive quality management systems is a must
- Preferred knowledge of - and/or experience with : production of metal parts, Automotive quality systems, modern approaches to manufacturing management
- Working experience with Western MNC is highly preferred
- Possess knowledge of Six Sigma principles and their implementation
- Lean Manufacturing experience
- Good planning, organizing, controlling and financial management skills and the ability to account for the effectiveness of a cross-professional team and corporate governance
- Self-motivation, strong leadership competencies and with foresight in technology development
- Change leadership and achievement orientation, assertive and result-oriented, crisis and conflict management skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and high integrity
- Ability to work effectively with team members working from other sites within the Company (development teams, sales)
- Proficient in English - possess the ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing using English
