Responsibilities:
Communications
? Work with China MD and the Management Team to develop and implement annual communications plan utilising both traditional and digital platforms in line with the Global Business Plan
? Liaise with regional offices to support implementation of regional communications plan
? Liaise with media outlets on delivery of global and China media releases
? Liaise with Global Communications Manager to deliver global communications to members and stakeholders.
? Liaise with RICS Economics team to ensure concise delivery of RICS market specific surveys and assist the Economics team to increase the participation rate in market surveys in China
? Maintain watching brief on media outlets for updates on issues relevant to RICS
? Prepare briefing notes and talking points for China MD, and other senior managers as required on topics relevant to RICS

Content
? Ensure all relevant communications are uploaded onto relevant communications platforms including RICS website, global and local social network
? Liaise with China MD and Senior Managers to ensure content is updated and relevant to members and stakeholders.
? Liaise with regional offices to assist with importing content onto digital platforms on content relevant to regional needs.
? Analyse content responses on digital and social media platforms

Requirement:?
? Minimum 5 years’ experience in communications and/or journalism.
? Relevant tertiary qualifications in communications and/or journalism
? Demonstrated experience using digital and social media platforms
? Demonstrated experience in the use of e-communications and website content writing
? Excellent written and verbal communication skills
? Ability to work to tight deadlines
? Ability to liaise with media in a timely and professional manner
? Ability to liaise both internally and externally across multiple time zones
? Results oriented and highly commercially minded.
? Experience of working in property and/or construction would be advantageous
