Main duties and responsibilities

• Manage the team in South China to achieve key targets.
• Drive growth in CBBC membership and CBBC services, as well as servicing the needs of existing clients.
• Ensure the smooth running of the Shenzhen office, including financial reporting and monthly reporting.
• Work with the team to provide advice and consultation services to UK businesses of all sizes and experience in China.
• Maintain and develop relationships with government departments and local businesses in South China to support UK companies' interests.

The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, an energetic team player, and a highly credible representative for CBBC in the region. Specific requirements for the role are as follows:

• Proven track record as a manager, preferably with a services or consulting background.
• Thrives on developing motivated, results-oriented teams.
• Proactive approach to building business relationships at senior level.
• Experience in consultative selling and business development with both international and Chinese clients.
• Demonstrable understanding of the concerns of and issues faced by UK companies doing business in China.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, including fluent written and spoken English.
