职位描述
RESPONSIBILITIES
? Work with the corporate team to accelerate the scale and timing of margin/cost improvement benefits from sourcing in the Asia Pacific region or other opportunity markets
? Manage an effective team including technical expertise to support supplier qualification, on-boarding, quality management, design/engineering and other necessary gating functions for on-time new product introduction.
? Create and maintain reliable supplier relationships and networks able to sustain expected performance
? Help develop a sustainable global coordinating processes to support effective teaming and results across the organization
? Purchase Order and WIP management for product ordered through Asian Suppliers
? Quality Control management with Asian Suppliers
? Develop, lead and implement sourcing initiatives and structured supplier efforts to reduce cost, inventory and lead time.
? Source new vendors to meet growing production needs
? Monitor stock values and quantities and support regular stock audits to maintain a high safety stock accuracy.
QUALIFICATIONS
? Degree in Manufacturing related discipline or equivalent.
? Strong interpersonal verbal and written communication skills for interaction at all levels of the organization.
? Identifies, recommends and implements opportunities for streamlining team, manufacturing and business processes.
? Goal oriented and action-focused, pragmatic and self-disciplined.
? Extremely strong problem solving and organizational skills.
? Knowledge of ISO requirements and Supplier Audits.
? Knowledge of Six Sigma, Lean, TQM and continuous improvement methodologies, materials requirement planning, inventory control techniques, value analysis, cost/price analysis and production processes.
? Strong interpersonal and communication skills for interaction at all levels of the organization.
? Ability to lead and work on projects in a team environment and across functions.
? Desire to implement change and possess a passion for excellence.
? Strong analytical and PC skills including excellent working knowledge of MS Word and Excel.
? Ability to travel on a regular basis
