Key Responsibilities

· Establish clear direction to effectively manage quality team

· Address current QA system issues to achieve high consistency quickly

· Lead/Assist in standardizing procedures, systems, manuals and policies within QA

· Lead and manage the company/supplier/partner quality relationships

· Facilitate company-wide quality communications and implementation of quality programs

· Work closely with purchasing team to maintain inspection schedules

· Work closely in the development stages to ensure product integrity in production

· Introduce new quality technologies as needed to support the business

· Position is based in Jiaxing with frequent travel within China



Education & Experience Requirements



· Degree holder (or relevant experience) with 12+ years experience (minimum 5 years of people management) in production of leather and PU related consumer goods

· Experience in handbags, luggage or shoes preferred

· Will consider lesser experienced for Senior Manager, QA position

· Must have strong, demonstrated leadership, communication and execution skills

· Experience in management of ISO and related quality methodologies

· Must have the ability to work in a collaborative team environment

· Able to manage a large team effectively in a fast paced and changing environment.

· Must possess strong communication skills in both written and spoken English and Mandarin
