The Automotive Microcontroller and Processor (AMP) Application team in China is a critical part of the AMP Business Line within the automotive business unit. It is responsible for providing excellent application support to automotive customer as well as internal team with the focus on the demand from fast growing China market. Application engineers within this team will develop complete or even customized reference solution for customers including both hardware and software, and help to secure design win by solution and customer support. The application team will work very closely with AMP marketing team in China, and collaborate with regional sales and field application engineers to grow the business in Great China and South Asia Pacific region.

Responsibilities:
- Lead the application team, align with marketing team on business growth strategy in Great China and South Asia Pacific region.
- Drive the development of solution for automotive customers, including but not limited to hardware reference boards, software demo codes, documents and other product collaterals.
- Provide excellent application support to key customers in selected market segment, help secure design win in customer projects.
- Conduct new product and solution training to customers, distributors, and internal team as appropriate. Support trade show and other market events, work as center of technical expertise in the region.
- Collaborate with global AMP organization to keep growing team’s technical capability, work effectively across departments to help customer overcome technical barriers and save development effort.

Requirements:
- Master or doctor degree in relevant disciplines, such as electronics/electrical engineering, embedded system, computer science, automotive electronics etc;
- Strong leadership, at least three years’ work experience of people manager.
- Deep understanding of automotive electronics and automotive application, especially the automotive market in China.
- Knowledge in Hardware and Software design with MCU, experience with NXP MCU preferred
- Excellent interpersonal skill, able to work effectively with multiple internal teams in global organization as well as customers
- Attitude of enthusiasm, curiosity, continuous learning, and desire for success as a team
