Responsibilities

Main Objectives

Primary duty to Lead the data center duties at ZF China SH Holding Center, and provided regional support for regional data centers related activities, e.g.: Audit, review & operation standards.
1.1 The role of the Data Center (DC) Operation responsible is to monitor and ensure the operations of ZF China SH Holding APAC Data Center environment.
1.2 In charge of 1st level support on APAC DC main Facility components.
1.3 Responsible of security management on DC by different frequency regularly action (Daily DC check, annual power cut management, etc.).
1.4 Build DC component capacity plan and handle data center facilities life cycle
1.5 Initiative Component performance report and support report on regular basis.
1.6 Engage with Data center facilities suppliers (Internal/External) for the maintenance of data center facilities.
1.7 Build up cooperation with Global ZF IT DC (FIID) operation team to reach competency target and lead planned task in APAC.

Key Responsibilities

1 Date Center Operation Part(Primary):
1.1 Ensure Data Center Operation meeting ZF business requirements.
1.2 Ensure that APAC DC facilities are operating properly; monitor data center system’s health status including UPS, Air Condition, Power Supply, Physical Security.
1.3 Monitor data backup status; Coordinate level 2 or Level 3 support.
1.4 Ensure documentations and reports are properly prepared and recorded.
1.5 Access control management is adhere to IT Security policy.
1.6 Implement new requirement and solutions for the data center align with ZF IT standard policy;
1.7 Ensure data center availability meeting ZF data center service level conditions;
1.8 Works with Germany & RA SCO Team in regards to performing online and batch operations;
1.9 Ensure data center operation are meeting Audit &compliant needs;
1.10 As the 1st local escalation point for SHZ data center operations.
2. Change management
2.1 Ensure the training of new IT employees
2.2. Infill the Role Operational Change Manager
2.3. Organize Change Advisory Boards
3. Continuity Management
3.1 Support the regional Continuity Manager to ensure the Continuity Management processes;
3.2. Execute internal DC Audits with the global DC Operations team.

Requirements

Basic Requirements

1.Minimum 3 years Data Center Operations experience supporting IT in a Mutli Mational Company(MNC) Environment
Good Customer Oriented Services and Inter-personal skills'

2.University degree with major in Information Technology or related discipline

3.Fluent spoken and written English

4.Knowledge of German is an advantage

5.Familiar with Microsoft Office Products, Exchange 2010,
Windows XP & Windows 7, MS-Office & VMWare
Familiar with MS Windows Server 2003~2008 R2;
Knowledge of Tape backup , NetApps and Data Domain will be an advantage.
ITIL Processes;

6.Experienced Data Center Professional;

Professional skills and abilities

A self-starter, committed, patience and responsible character
Good communication skills
Able to work under time pressure, with attention to details.
Good team work experiences.

Special Requirements

Experience in regional or global IT environment
Experience in data center operations and service desk.
Good bussiness process Knowledge.
Willingness to travel.
