Job Description

Position Overview:
· This Manager position is in the ITS&T practice, a part of a growing and vibrant ITS&T global service line within Greater China, which delivers lasting competitive advantage and value to our clients business through more effective use of information technology.

· The primary responsibility for the individual selected will be to lead selected client sales efforts and lead strategy consulting projects and follow on delivery projects.

· Information and communication technology strategy and vision
· IT in M&A and IT post merger integration
· Information Strategy
· Technology innovation driven or enabled business strategies
· IT spend and business value assessments
· Business and IT transformations and rationalisations
· IT investment portfolio assessments and management
· IT governance
· IT operating model-global & regional
· IT operational and process management effectiveness
· Industry specific IT architectures
Secondary:
· Global IT services sourcing models
· Operations assessment
· IT innovations for drive greater business value

Professional Criteria:
· 1-2 university degrees from top-rated university; MBA highly desirable
· A minimum of 6-10 years of professional experience, preferably some of which as a strategy / management consultant in top-tier firm or significant corporate business development function. Experience in large client organisations and on large, complex engagements is desired.
· Solid understanding of the business strategy development, strategic business impact of information and communications technologies, and ability to communicate this impact in business rather than technical terms to C-suite clients
· Excellent financial analysis and shareholder value assessment skills and ability to interpret the impact of IT into shareholder value creation
· Experience in the formulation of IT strategies or IT-enabled business strategies. A range of experience across the areas of IT alignment, IT enablement, and IT management and delivery is a plus.
· Experience in organizational transformation via IT investments and implementation
· Excellent management presence and strong consulting or corporate development skills honed through practical application (e.g., written and oral communications, group process management, team-based work environments)
· Entrepreneurial, can-do attitude with willingness and ability to do both conceptual work and hands-on delivery of consulting projects
· Excellent client relationship building and people skills
· Specific knowledge of one or more industries is a plus but is not essential; there is special interest in individuals who may have skills in the financial services and insurance, telecommunications, or retail industries
· Experience in selling consulting or business-to-business services work

· Highly analytical and ability to structure complex issues
· Creativity and capability for expressing strategic insight pragmatically
· Visible drive and energy-ability to engage and challenge both Accenture's Local Senior Executives and global ITS&T community members
· Keen to coach and contribute to the professional growth of ITS&T team members
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Other international languages considered a plus.
· Good business network in large Local companies-preferably at C-level
· Top educational and work performance
· Willingness to travel and work in projects abroad (occasionally)
· Flexibility to work extended hours when required by business situations
Professional Activities:
· Lead and assist in client sales efforts as ITS&T subject matter expert; be a member of various client teams to develop client account plans and support overall client management and value generation.
· Manage and be an active member of Accenture project teams to deliver IT strategy / business projects which develop leading edge IT and business capabilities that provide sustainable competitive advantage to clients.
· Working on cross-competency teams (i.e., teaming involving specialists in business strategy, process, organisation, and technology) as well as on projects which are large in scale, long in duration, and high in complexity, often in international scale
· Collaborate and co-operate with other ITS&T Hong Kong Senior Managers and team members to foster the growth of ITS&T Hong Kong.
· Liaise with Accenture Corporate Strategy service line strengthening the relationship between corporate strategy and IT & technology strategies.
· Report to ITS&T Hong Kong Lead on regular basis with existing tools and processes
· Contribute to ITS&T knowledge base development and thought leadership
· Create links with ITS&T professionals and appropriate other professionals within Accenture (e.g., in other service line leads and across all five industry groups)
· Contribute to ITS&T market awareness-building campaigns in Hong Kong (e.g., press articles, press interviews etc.)
· Contribute to the communal spirit of ITS&T Hong Kong-a highly professional and dynamic entity with clearly differentiated skills
