Maxim's Cloud and Datacenter team is seeking a senior-level Applications Engineer to support existing product and new product development of optical ICs at our Wuhan, China location. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
? Developing firmware using a combination of C and assembly language for optical modules.
? Create GUIs using C# for internal and external product evaluation.
? Developing PCBs for device evaluation.
? Evaluate Maxim’s optical controller and transceiver devices in the lab.
? Debug customer modules.
? Provide technical support to customers and field engineers.

Minimum Qualifications
? Experience with designing embedded systems.
? Ability to write efficient firmware using both C and assembly code.
? Experience creating graphical user interfaces (GUIs) using C# for Microsoft .Net framework.
? Strong fundamental electrical and analytical skills.
? Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Chinese and English.
? BS in electrical engineering or computer engineering.
Preferred Qualifications
? Experience with Cadence Allegro PCB design tools for schematic capture and layout.
? Experience using IAR Embedded Workbench.
? PCB design experience for RF circuits.
? Knowledge and experience of fiber optic communication systems, lasers and photodiodes, and optical test equipment. 举报 分享
