Job Purpose
Develop and execute Greater China Strategic Business Plan to achieve O/S/M AOP for Sensing product lines through product management and sales support
KPI (Key Performance Indicator)
Order / Shipment / Margin AOP; Lead Time / Inventory Level
Key Responsibilities
DO
Business Planning and Execution:
? Develop and execute GRC Country Business Plan (BSR) for Sensing product lines, including connectivity
? Achieve overall business financial performance (order/ shipment / margin) for Sensing product lines, including Made-in-China sensing, Global Sensing, Connectivity
? Responsible for leading product lines' monthly forecast and order/shipment/margin execution
Customer Engagement:
? Review, validate, and propose technical solutions and demos for complex product applications and provide proof of concept
? Provide pre and after-sales technical support as needed. Make joint Sales Calls with BDMs FBLs/ Sales / Channels to strategic customer accounts, to help develop business opportunities, close orders for responsible products, get voice of customers
Product Management:
? Responsible for Product Management, e.g. Product Positioning/Strategy, Product Pricing, Product Availability, Product Quality Issues
? Determine the total market (domestic and global) and available market for the product line
? Develop price position for the assigned products; Responsible for maintaining appropriate stocking levels within GRC in order to meet customer demands; Responsible for managing product marketing delivered by China Commercial Marketing, including commercial literature, commercial messaging, sales tools, sample, demo and incentive programs
? Work cross functionally with Global BU, logistics, and supply partners to manage availability, quality and life cycle of the product portfolio; Manage and communicate actions regarding PSAs.
? Provide feedback to Global BU regarding to product issues including quality, gaps, delivery, and competitive product information.
Channel Management:
? Responsible for overall channel-to-market strategy for Sensing product lines
? Determine and execute (through BDM/Market Access/CE) channel competency roadmap, including Distributor Sales and Specialists and SIs
? Assist Distributor on Product Inventory Management and Support
People Team Development
? Serve as Subject Matter Expert for the Sensing virtual team (incl. SA/FBL/GxTC/OEM sales champions/Distributor specialists/Distributor sales/CSM/SSB). Lead the exchange of best practices within this virtual team and leverage corporate and regional direction.
OVERSEE
? Product Marketing, including commercial literature, commercial messaging, sales tools, sample, demo and incentive programs
? Lead Time Management. Work closely with supplier(s), logistics to maintain appropriate stocking levels
? Distributor competency plan as delivered by BDM/Market Access/Commercial Engineer/Commercial Training
? Supplier Management. Work closely with Global BU and Strategic Sourcing, drive execution to achieve targets: leadtime, quality, issue resolution, price, balanced scorecard

? Minimum of 5 years prior industry experience in Product Marketing, Product Management, Commercial Marketing or Sales of automation products or services.

? Strong communication skills and an ability to work within a team environment also critical to achieve the business objectives.
? High level of expertise Sensing Product Category.
