General Job Description:
- This position is responsible for interfacing customers in North China, providing after sales supply chain support to stakeholders, managing site operation of part/tool handling, and leading outsourced 3PL warehouse team.
- This position is responsible for performance management of site supply chain services, strategy implementation in alignment with stakeholders/customers’ needs and business opportunities, continuous improvements on operation efficiency, plan feasibility/realization and cost control.
Main Roles and Responsibilities:
- Supply chain interface to stakeholders (customers, account team, engineers and other world-wide sites), participate meetings, analyze and consolidate requirement, secure proactive communication, prepare supply chain progress & KPI report;
- Deep understanding of customer supply chain requirements, drive and implement site supply chain operation to align with worldwide supply chain strategy in support of customers’ need, machine installation and after sales request as a part of global customer account teams;
- Ensure compliance conformity of site supply chain activities and alignment with the worldwide guidelines, company rules and external regulations;
- Daily operation on site part/tool handling within KPI via 3PL warehouse team including ordering, import, storage, delivery to customers, return from customers, re-distribution export between DLC, BLP and EPZ;
- Coordinate and execute timely/accurate safety stock planning, part/tool fill rate, ensure collaboration across organization to improve local stock availability and flexibility;
- Cost management, realizing required performance within agreed budgets, and optimize inventory including excess and obsolesce in high tech environment with high pace of engineering changes;
- Process and analytical approach for trouble shooting of daily operation, 3PL management;
- Traveling if needed
Qualification:
- Related bachelor’s degree on (Technical) business administration, supply chain management or engineering;
- 6+ years’ working experience in large international company or multi-cultural environment on supply chain management, operations, procurement, project management or planning;
- Trade and Customs knowledge within China, familiar with warehouse operation and freight forwarding;
- Advanced analytical and complex problem solving skills to identify relevant supply chain drivers, as well as perseverance and project management skills to actually generate impact;
- Able to organize and prioritize workload in areas of service and operations management in a highly complex and cross-sectorial business environment;
- Customer dedicated and service minded, understanding to semiconductor industry is preferred;
- SAP experience is preferred;
Personal skills:
- Leadership, decision maker, result oriented, convincing, pro-active and “can do” mentality;
- Can work under high pressure, plan & efficiency for daily work @ multi-tasks handling;
- Capable to deep-dive analyze and maintain top-level overview for problems & solutions;
- Excellent professional communication in English;
