We are now recruiting 2-3 legal assistants or interns to meet the extension of our business in Shenzhen. The position involves working closely with government agencies and investigation agencies on specific anti-piracy initiatives, in order to protect and enforce the IP rights of many famous multinational companies in the PRC.


More specific tasks include:


· Making preliminary investigations into reported infringements through use of internet and other searches, and local intelligence, to establish grounds for taking legal action;


· Liaison with China Customs and other Government enforcement agencies to confirm validity of documents and exports; providing Customs and other Government agencies training and presentations;


· Liaison with trade and industry associations (such as QBPC, MPA, AmCham), investigators, representatives of other companies, business associations, representatives of government agencies and other parties on anti-piracy initiatives including government lobbying, education and PR campaigns.


· Preparation of "cease and desist" letters and drafting other legal documents, correspondence, forms and reports.


· Assistance in the preparation of enforcement actions by gathering rights and evidentiary materials on rights/use.


· Organizing and maintaining a database on IP cases.


· Assistance with the development of reports and presentations and providing administrative support as needed.
