Brief Job Description
In this role you will Support the China Sales Team in the sales of IT Solutions to Multinational Companies operating throughout Asia. As part of which you will handle Internal Coordination between Procurement/Technical/Accounting teams for Sales & Account Management Initiatives. In addition you will have the opportunity to participate and manage Sales Research Projects and take responsibility for Corporate Event Planning
Job Description
Purpose: Assist China Sales Team with internal coordination & reporting and support both external customer and company facing development projects
Inter-Department Coordination (70%)
- Manage Incoming Procurement Requests for existing customers
- Communicate ongoing procurement activity between technical & sourcing teams
- Update Procurement Tracking Sheets for inter-department planning
- Collect Documentation for Client and Internal Billing
Sales Team Support (20%)
- Business to Business Sales & Marketing Research Projects
- Create Targeted Sales Materials
- Sales Meeting & Travel Coordination
Internal Development Initiatives (10%)
- Contribute to the development of Market Strategy – services, solutions, target sectors, promotions etc.
- Client Marketing Planning & Event Management
- China Team Event Planning & Event Management
Required Experience & Skills
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in administrative or assistant role in China or other applicable experience
- Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed agreed objectives.
Skills
- Must be active and organized, show a strong sense of ownership, commitment, & resourcefulness and be a good team player.
- Basic business knowledge, especially related to best business practices, Standard Operating Procedures, etc.
- Understanding of IT infrastructure in relation to customers' business is highly desirable, but training can be provided.
- Adept in use of office IT tools, particularly Windows, Outlook, Word and Excel
