Role (Purpose of the job)
Parts Field Representative and Regional Manager to promote and support parts sales within assigned region.
Key Responsibility
· Responsible for planning and follow-up of parts sales and market penetration in the region
· Maintain a database of customers and truck population in the region
· Inform the Marketing Manager of any point of view or complaints by the Service Center or customer within the area
· Keep track on competitor activities and prices, and report to the Marketing Manager about such activities
· Parts availability and stock at Service Centers
-Supervision of stock value development
-Persuade the Service Centers to stock sufficient quantities
-Persuade the Service Center to scrap parts according to distributed information
· Assure that Service Centers premises and parts organization are according to decided standards
· Assure that the parts handling system (LDS/LPA) is followed up and maintained
· Support the Service Centers in driving the parts business
· Assist in training of parts personnel at Service Centers
· Assist in creating and distributing parts marketing materials
· Assist in training of parts marketing analysis tools
· Negotiate discounts on parts sales to Service Centers or direct customers
· Give parts stock proposals to Service Centers and customers
· Parts system operation supporting
Main competence requirements
· Degree in engineering
· Experience from spare parts business within the automotive industry (foreign brands is an advantage)
· Experience from stock management
· Good communication skill in writing and oral, both English and Chinese
· Strong belief in customer focus
· Ability to manage a wide range of diverse issues
· Good PC knowledge, Excel, Word, Power-Point (experience in parts handling systems is an advantage)
· Easy to communicate with other people and work within a team
