Overall responsibility:
The Research Executive (RE) is part of the Media and Digital(MAD) team in their office and in a larger office will belong to a specific MAD Team. Their primary responsibility is to work with senior managers in maintaining and developing relationships with existing clients and running projects. They are developing their skills in key areas but operating under supervision from the senior people on the accounts on which they work.

RESPONSIBILITIES
-People Leadership
· Provides support to senior team members as required and guidance to junior team members
· Contributes to the overall smooth running of the team

-Client Leadership
· Acts as a liaison between the Client and MB on project-related issues with supervision, ensuring that their needs are being met
· Day to day involvement with client projects, including questionnaire design, liaison with project management, data analysis, interpretation and development of recommendations, preparation of
presentations of findings, liaison with CSS
· Developing presentation skills, including looking for best possible ways to present the information/graphics
· Demonstrates some basic marketing knowledge and applies to working relationships with clients

-Business Leadership
· Develops individual job costs, monitoring job costs throughout the project and ensures profitability, under supervision
· Works on/drafts and attends business pitches/proposals with senior members of team

-Thought Leadership
· Builds and develops a good working knowledge of key MB tools and techniques
· Is beginning to take projects through to analysis on a regular basis, recognizing the need for more analysis than description in summaries and conclusions
· Identifies patterns in the data, applies logic checks, looks for a story in the data, hypothesizes about the findings, thinks about what the conclusions in the data might mean and what the implications are

Required Experience/Skills:
· At least 1-2 years experience in Client Service
· Proven marketing (research) knowledge
· Proven knowledge of MB products and philosophy (if being promoted internally)
· Solid analytical skills
· Developing ability to build strong client relationships
· Attention to detail and accuracy (oversees the production and delivery of quality outputs at all times
· Project management – takes full ownership of projects with the end objective of ensuring smooth running of the logistics of accounts so that senior managers can focus on client servicing
· Technical skills:-
o Confidence in running Quanvert, doing simple DP analysis independently, writing longer DP specifications with guidance from seniors.
o Completes necessary database forms.
· Strong communications skills
· Fluency (verbal and written) in English and Chinese essential
· Cultural awareness
