职位描述
Position Purpose:
The DVA Engineer is responsible for leading Dimensional Variation Analysis (DVA) work on one or more new
model programs. This DVA work is used to validate new model designs and manufacturing processes, and the
work helps the engineering teams to choose between alternative designs and manufacturing processes. The DVA
work is an important part of reducing build variability, improving customer satisfaction and quality.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Key, but not restricted to, responsibilities of the position are as follows:-
? Plan, Coordinate, and Manage DVA work for new model programs.
? Coordinate Interior and Exterior CCP documentation for new model programs.
? Lead the collection of DVA model inputs from the Design and Manufacturing Engineers.
? Quality checking DVA models from external suppliers.
? Organize, Lead, Support DVA team meetings.
? Explain DVA Models and Reports to the Design and Manufacturing Engineers.
? Coordinate and Manage DVA Model and Report updates.
? Regularly report DVA work status to program management.
? Create Functional DVA studies for new model programs.
? Create Interior and Exterior CCP documentation for new model programs.
? Create Interior and Exterior DVA studies for new model programs.
Qualifications:
? Prior DVA experience is a plus - must have a solid understand of sheet metal assembly
? Manufacturing experience in either Body or Final assembly
? Job sepcific skills :GDT, RSS, LD/MP, WBDM, SRI, Teamcenter, VisVSA (Variation Analysis), FEA (Hypermesh, NASTRAN)
