Responsibility
- Ensure achievement of the company’s strategic and growth plan.
- Responsible for key talent and management development including consulting with the organization’s leaders regarding team development and personal/professional development of associates. Provide leadership in the development of a sustainable high performance/high commitment workforce.
- Direct recruiting and employment activities to ensure the timely placement of qualified associates.
- Develop programs, policies, procedures and controls regarding key HR metrics (recruiting, associate satisfaction, on-time performance appraisals, turnover, etc.)
- Conduct research into HR programs, policies and employment law and recommend strategies, changes or innovations where appropriate.
- Ensure compliance with employment-related laws and company policy. Represent, or aid in the representation of, the Company on related litigation.
- Properly execute corporate policies and HR programs ensuring superior quality, deliver and cost.
- Day-to-day associate relations including problem solving, counselling, coaching, fact-finding, etc.
- Provide internal consulting services regarding the interpretation and application of HR policies and processes. Participate in developing best practices and implementing policies and processes as applicable.
Measure of performance
- China core sales growth %
- Recruiting talent in line with growth plan
- Annual OTA (Org and Talent assessment) completed, quarterly follow ups. Executing on a minimum of 80% of agreed staffing actions.
- Development plans in place for all associates
- Recruiting according to plan and approved VSR. High quality talent. High retention.
- Monthly KPIs
- Improvement in process, low attrition
- Compliance training completed
- Investigate issues timely and in accordance with policy.
- High level transparency of issues
- Timely implementation with high quality/impact
- Feedback from internal clients
- Feedback from internal clients
- Participation in Global LBS HR calls/activities/projects
Qualifications - External
REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION
a) Professional Experience
? Five or more years of progressive HR experience with a multi-national company in a Generalist role required
? Specialist knowledge in one of several HR competencies such as Compensation & Benefits, Learning & Development, Employee Relations, HRIS or Talent Acquisition would be beneficial
? Have a clear understanding of China labor law
b) Education
? BS Degree in Human Resource Management or similar
c) Language
? Chinese and English (both verbal and written)
d) Travel (required estimated % of time)
? ~10%

? Ability to build partnership with business leaders
? Excellent communication skills
? Good business and financial understanding
? Good influencing and leadership skills
? Knowledge of laws governing employment
