职位描述：
This position provides Beijing Firestone with a local quality resource to interact with customers and suppliers on quality issues, to provide quality function support for the company by coordinating with Sales, Manufacturing and purchasing, and to monitor and improve the internal quality system.

4 years Engineering degree
2 years quality inspection and quality assurance experience
Be able to speak English

Supplier QE tasks = 35%
Assesses the quality management system of potential suppliers and provides QA approval to place them on Purchasing approved supplier list
Communicates supplier quality requirements to suppliers
Inspect samples of components from suppliers, monitor supplier quality and delivery performance
Works with suppliers to understand cause of quality issues, determine effective countermeasures and follow up the implementation of corrective and preventive actions

Manufacturing QE tasks = 10%
Interprets and communicates customer quality requirements to plant for proper submission of PPAP documentation
Follows up with production department to assure responses to customer queries are being provided in a timely manner
Coordinates containment action with production department and customer locations when a reject condition calls for it
Works with production and/or other related departments to analyze customer complaints and take corrective actions

OE QE tasks = 30%
Will be the primary quality contact for China OE customers regarding PPAP submissions and complaints
Make periodic visits to customer locations to review company performance, to advise regarding corrective actions and to communicate improvement activities
Conduct on site evaluation of quality problems and direct interaction with the OE customer
Work with OE Sales to assure steps are taken to maintain customer satisfaction

Market QE tasks = 20%
Inspect return goods to determine whether workmanship or manufacturing defect contributed to part failure. Notify FSIP manufacturer regarding workmanship issues
Monitor warranty levels to identify opportunities for improvement
Visit end user customers or distributors to understand first hand the complaints and explain cause and corrective action

General & Misc. duties = 5%
Conducts or participates in internal or external audits of suppliers, sub-contractors, manufacturing plants
Liaise with Division QA in Carmel
