Major Responsibilities include:

- Aligning the training interventions offered to the China and overall corporate strategy.
- Organising training courses from sourcing through to post-course evaluation.
- Management of the annual training budget - working with Finance colleagues to ensure internal processes are adhered to.
- Running internally offered training interventions as and where appropriate.
- Ownership of the staff satisfaction survey and post-survey action planning.
- Key stakeholder in the Employer Brand conceptualisation, roll-out and maintenance process.
- Conducting development related 1:1's with customers.
- Supporting the HR Manager with performance assessment processes including appraisals, individual development plans and succession planning documents.
- Respond to general human resources information requests from internal constituencies as appropriate.
- Develop and implement business strategies or special projects and initiatives as assigned.

Experience & Background Skills Required:

- 5+ years Human Resources experience with direct responsibility for customer base.
- Well-balanced competences as an overall generalist in HR function with specialized competence in the training and development arena.
- Good knowledge in China labour law and regulation, and have practical experience in complying with legal requirements.

Other Position Requirements:

- Bachelor degree a minimum.
- Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills, effective communication with people from different cultures and levels.
- Self motivated and capable of working independently, and in a team environment.
- Has a customer-focused mindset, responsible, integrity, innovative and drive for result.
- Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Windows packages.
- Excellent English language skills- written, spoken and reading.
- Preferable for candidates to have Blue Chip multi national experience (ideal automotive sector).
