Within Operations the Industrial Technology & Engineering Center (ITEC) is an OEM department of NXP which develops leading edge equipment and provides solutions for assembly and testing of semiconductors. The ITEC products are Die Pick & Place Equipment, Test Equipment, Inspection Equipment and Factory Automation solutions. ITEC customers are the NXP assembly centers in Asia and the NXP test centres in Europe. For the ITEC organization in Hong Kong, we are seeking candidate to fill the following position:

Candidate Responsibilities: 
 - Support assembly sites in problem solving after customer release. And assist suppliers in technical trouble shooting during serial production
- Actively provide support in product development stage by giving constructive advice to the product team to facilitate the design process
- Execute prototype building and testing of equipment, modules or improvements of existing equipment- Validate the products in accordance with the design, customers requirements and the reliability during product release stage
- in charge Beta-test at customer site and responsible for resolving technical problems during production ramp-up. Also responsible for training and acceptance of new equipment at the customers
- Validate the product and check the buy-off criteria in between shipment of the product and release for serial production

Candidate Profile:
  - University graduate in MSc/BSc in Mechanical or Electronics Engineering, Computer Science or Mechatronics
- Solid experience on high precision Semiconductors assembly or test equipment, experience on vision inspection equipment will be an advantage
- Profound knowledge of applications or technology related to mechatronic or electronic equipment- More than 5 years experience in semiconductors / electronic manufacturing industry
- Strong problem-solving and organizing skills- Good interpersonal skills and able to deliver results through determination and team-work
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin- Mature, customer-service oriented and able to work independently
