Duties and Responsibilities:



Translate and prepare documents, memos, letters and presentations from and to English / Mandarin
Interact frequently and successfully with Senior Executives and other Executive Assistants
Communicate effectively and smoothly with executives and assistants from outside companies - these people will include: customers and clients, corporate partners, media and technology leaders
Arrange and coordinate schedules and calendars including travel scheduling, accommodations and trip logistics
Arrange business meetings and offsite conferences
Coordinate timing and logistics of staff meetings as well as other meetings and conference calls and prepare the meeting materials ahead of time
Translate and distribute correspondence
Manage and reconcile expense reports
Develop an understanding of the department's operations, policies and procedures
Manage and complete special projects as needed
Handle and maintain highly confidential and sensitive information
Multi-task and work on many tasks or projects simultaneously
Strategic thinking: Understand the business and the industry and see the 'big picture'


Minimum Skills necessary to succeed:



At least 2 years of experience as an assistant with a large technology based multi-national
BA/BS degree in e-commerce
Expertise using Microsoft Office with emphasis on Word, Powerpoint and Excel
Excellent communication skills - verbal and written involving high-level communications with internal and external contacts; ability to listen and simplify details depending upon target audience; ability to influence others
Fierce attention to detail
Willingness to work hard and passion to learn new things
Ability to work across functions in a team environment
Demonstrated ability to take initiative, anticipate needs, and exercise independent and sound judgment
Proven time management skills and the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and work in a fast paced environment while remaining cool under pressure
