Reserch Analyst/consultant–Korean,based in Shanghai or Beijing

Due to our continued rapid expansion in Asia, we are now recruiting an experienced Consultant/Research Analyst based in Shanghai or Beijing. Reporting directly to SAI Asia’s Project Director or Project Manager, your main roles and responsibilities include:

Project volume
? Undertake two to three average size projects concurrently (utilizing both sub-contractor and SAI internal staff) with a focus on Japan/Korea projects

Project design and planning
? Kick off meeting - contribute to the internal project kick off with the team and external kick off meeting with clients
? Project work-plan - develop a detailed project work plan covering breakdown of project tasks, allocation of subs/staff members and man-day/budget allocation (SPM)
? Questionnaire - develop questionnaires for different target interview groups

Project research execution
? Secondary research - identify internal library and past project resources and conduct secondary research of external resources and extract useful information for the team
? Contact list - review target interview contact list developed by subs or Research Analysts (RA’s) (in many instances will need to develop contact lists as well, if no subs utilized)
? Call reports – develop and/or review call reports to control research data accuracy and provide input
? Field research - conduct telephone / face to face interviews including important trial interviews, expert interviews and key section/segment interviews.
? Research methodology - assist in guiding subs/Research Analysts on research methodology to achieve satisfactory research results efficiently
Report writing
? Develop report draft based on agreed report template
? Review section reports provided by Research Analysts or subs or develop own reports
? Review and correct the translated portion (from local language to English) of the report to ensure consistency of the meaning)

Project progress and time management
? Weekly project progress monitoring - check project issues and monitor project progress with Research Analysts or subs on a regular (in most cases, daily) basis
? Project overrun management - control personal project overrun and that of Research Analysts

Post project responsibility
? Project follow-up - assist Project Director on project follow-up actions
? Post project employee evaluation - evaluate Research Analysts’ and subs performance upon project completion
? Post project review - make sure all project documents are submitted to Admin Assistant for future reference

People Management
? On-the-job coaching - identify training needs and provide on-the-job coaching for Research Analysts and subs

Business Development
? Support proposal development

The ideal candidate should have the following attributes:
？ Korea speaker
？ Two to five years of experience in industrial market research or business consulting
？ Fluency in English for communication with internal project team and clients
？ Previous experience of conducting telephone and face-to-face interviews to collect market information is essential
？ Excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills. Familiarity with statistical software and techniques a plus
？ Familiarity with primary research methodologies, tools and techniques
？ Ability to manage, mentor and motivate in a team environment
？ Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks concurrently, frequently on tight timeframes and short turnaround times
？ University degree; ideally in Phamacy, Bio-pharmaceuticals, Biological Sciences or equivalent technical or business field (Business and Management, Economics, etc.) 举报 分享
