Main goals and objectives:

This position ensures

? a professional IT project management for development, implementation and roll-out of mobile online services in a global and intercultural program environment (German, Chinese, US American)

? a sustainable IT solution that supports VW AG requirements (e.g. IP protection) as well as Joint Venture’s demands for self-responsibility

? the support of all involved business parties to meet their IT requirements and the incorporation of the new business field of online services in the current landscape of customer and business processes

? IT compliance regarding legal requirements, intellectual property and data security protection

? regional governance of the local partners providing services within the Connected Car Systems according to the confirmed job split

? a reliable handover of IT Systems from project phase to operation phase

Your Responsibilities:

? Manage Connected Car related system rollouts and development for VWAG Brands, VGC, VGIC and the Chinese Joint ventures

? Decide technical solutions and govern system roll-outs in tight cooperation with the Group IT in Germany in order to assure standardization and IP protection

? Define Car-Net IT integration strategy with the local application landscape at the SVW

? Consolidate and management of Car-Net IT platform, infrastructure and architecture based on VW Group standards and localized solutions to improve system stability, reliability and consistency

? Manage projects and monitor the result for further improvement

? Report to global program management and keep informal channels to the local Project Management

? Manage projects with up to 25 project members

Business Process Management

? Analyze and evaluate existing business processes and consolidate business requirements with strong focus on customer orientation

? Define IT-related business processes in cooperation with the Car-Net Business Integrator to ensure sustainable solutions and a good customer (end-user) experience

? Conduct technical negotiation with local Project Partners to ensure the implementation of a VWAG Group standard solution to the most possible extent

? Build up stable and regular communication to identify and realize synergy

? Involve actively the VWAG Group Business Owner in all business process related decisions

Project / Program Management

? Manage IT and process related projects including rollout of VW Group solutions, local business process re-engineering and system development

? Evaluate business cases (ROI/TCO) to ensure cost efficiency of projects

? Drive request for proposal (RFP) process and manage partners/vendors to deliver the requested products, solutions or services

? Setup and manage projects by international industry project management standard (PMP) especially focused on scope, budget, quality, time and resources

Our Requirements:

Necessary education:

? University degree (master’s degree or higher) in computer science, engineering (or a comparable degree)

Personal skills:

? Strong communication skills, customer focused with an positive attitude

? Project planning, initiation, execution, organization and control

? Personal and project leadership: managing risk and making decisions, conducting effective problem management

? Distinct interest in new mobile online technologies, social media and customer oriented web services

? Technical skills related to programming, enterprise infrastructure applications, IT system architecture, basic IT security knowledge, AMS and software lifecycle management

? In-Car electronics know-how is a plus

Working experience:

? IT project management: (more than 5 years), preferably in the automotive industry and within the area of telematics

? software development: (more than 3 years), preferably in the automotive industry and within the area of telematics

Remarks:

? English skill oral and written

? German or Chinese Language Skills are a plus

? PMP Certification (or equivalent)
