职位描述：

Position requirement:

1. Bachelor degree, engineering perferably
2. 3-4 years purchasing experience (planner/buyer, or buyer)
3. Good English skills (speaking, reading, writing, particularly important is

understanding engineering and technical terms)

4. Willing to travel internationally and domestically

Basic Purpose:

To develop purchasing plan and purchase all materials necessary for production, to qualify and evaluate suppliers, to perform cost reduction, to ensure smooth production operation by timely delivery of quality products. To qualify local sources. To support global purchasing projects and strategy (mainly from US and Europe)

Job Description

1. Work out purchasing plan in accordance with sales forecast
2. Place PO and follow up on orders
3. Supplier Management including selection, price negotiation and evaluation
4. Reduce cost and maintain the cost efficiency in all operations
5. Find and identify optimal new sources and suppliers, while develop and control supplier negotiations and relations
6. Evaluate local materials and manufacturing methods to compare to existing company standards and specifications
7. Assist Engineering in qualifying alternate materials and/or manufacturing methods for parts sourced locally
8. Support global purchasing team on the sourcing strategy and project implementation
9. Coordinate with QA to audit and qualify new suppliers
10. Assist QA to solve quality issue
11. Miscellaneous projects as assigned by manager
