Job Description:
This role is for a software engineer with performance analysis technical skills and good English speaking skills. It involves performance analysis and qualifying components that are part of a large product. There is communication internally and externally with Engineering plants in Australia and India. The product is a Unisys owned product that provides model driven development and code generation to a variety of platforms. Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio and Systems/Platforms Products is a great advantage.
Responsibilities of this role include:
- Writing and executing performance test of Windows components that are implemented in C++ (or C#, .NET)
-Work with other engineers in the performance analysis and development teams under the lead of the technical leader in Australia
- Providing professional reporting and communication
Skills and experience include:
Mandatory skills:
- Degree in Computer Science or related discipline
- Good English skills especially oral English.
- Open minded, likes to interact with people and works well with others.
- Understanding of the SDLC and engineering processes.
- Ability to do performance analysis.
Technical skills:
- Knowledge in scripting or programming language.
- Knowledge in performance benchmarking or Windows testing.
- Knowledge in test development and execution.
Beneficial skills:
- Industry work experience in performance benchmarking or analysis.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Debugging and problem solving skills.
- Is self motivated and looking for a challenge.
